CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER SQUARES

About 22 graham cracker squares
1 box (1 lb.) powdered sugar
1 c. (2 lb.) butter, melted
1 c. creamy-style peanut butter
1 lg. pkg. (12 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Use food processor to turn graham crackers into crumbs. Measure 1 1/2 cups fine crumbs. Add powdered sugar and blend with crumbs. Pour into mixing bowl. Add melted butter and peanut butter. Stir well.
Spoon peanut butter mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13 inch pan and pressed firmly into an even layer. (Use waxed paper to press) chill until cold, 45 minutes. Discard wax paper.

In 1 1/2-2 quart pan over low heat, melt chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Spread chocolate evenly over chilled peanut butter layer. Let stand until chocolate firms slightly (15 minutes). Cut into 1-1 1/2 inch squares. 3 dozen.

1 cup butter
2 1/3 cups powdered sugar
1 cup peanut butter
1 3/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1 lb milk chocolate chips

Melt butter.
Remove from heat and add sugar, peanut butter, and graham crackers.
Mix all these ingredients together and then spread mixture in a greased 9 x 13 inch pan.
Melt chocolate chips in double boiler (I do it very carefully in the microwave) and pour on top; chill.
Cut into squares.
(HINT: Do not wait until they are fully chilled to cut because the chocolate topping gets too hard and will crack.).
