Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned
No one is angrier than a woman who has been rejected in love. This proverb is adapted from a line in the play The Mourning Bride, by William Congreve, an English author of the late seventeenth and early eighteenth centuries

The saying goes "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned" Which means a woman is a bad thing to have to deal with when you piss her off!

The whole quotation is "Hell hath no fury as a woman scorned."
Which means that if you think you can do your woman wrong and not get some payback you'd better think again.

It's "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned." In other words, an angry woman is much more dangerous [for lack of a better word] than the fiery pits of hell.

Wow, I've actually never even heard of either of these bands but I'm liking them both.. When I first started listening to the Civet song I wasn't sure if I was going to like it or not but I really did. The chorus was very catchy but definitely in a good way (Catchyness can sometimes be a really bad thing IMO). I saved them, thanks! And as for Angtoria, I really liked this too because well, it's symphonic metal which is a genre that I love and have for a while now. Her voice is just beautiful and that chorus is great too! The overall sound of it is just really good. I will have to go with Angtoria. I'm just all around more of a metalhead than someone who's into punk so I pick them.

the complete phrase is "hell hath no fury like a woman's wrath" - in other words, the worst thing that can possibly happen to you would not be worse than if a woman is angry with you.
