The hotter the better! I acquired a taste for very spicy foods in Thailand. I spent two years there and a meal isn't considered good unless you are sweating and your lips are burnt at the end. Children eat dried chili peppers like candy.

I've been a fan of "heat" since I was 5 years old, when my father tricked me into eating sliced jalapenos, saying they were "pickles". ;) Yes, I eat habanero peppers (nearly the hottest pepper grown) and many other peppers. I carry hot sauce or habanero powder with me wherever I go. There aren't too many meals I can eat without some form of burning sensation on them, including desserts. Ice cream or chocolate cake with Smoked Red Savina Habanero Powder sprinkled on it is wonderful! I also collect hotsauces. I have over 300 different brands currently. :)

I cant do it...but, i watched a friend, who was pretty clueless when it comes to mexican food, take a hand full of Habanero slices, which were orange, he thought they were like mild banana peppers...i hve never seen a dude get sicker, he had a bad stomach to begin with...i don't think he ever recovered!

I have had habaneros. They are extremely hot, with a hint of sweet. They are reputedly the hottest chili in existence.

Actually Hispanics aren't the only ones who can handle habanero chillies. Tedy so shut up about being Mexican or Hispanic. I am white and love habanero chillies. And I learned to like them when I lived in Ohio which is far from a Hispanic place. No offense not a Mexican hater I am married to one. But Hispanics aren't the only ones who are immune. My husband can't even handle jalapenos. So save it okay.

I won money on AFV about 9yrs ago by eating a habanero for a bet against my friend. thought we'd film it, pretty funny, the original video lasted about 40 minutes, chewed it pretty good, i was off my head with pain in my ears..like knitting needles down my lugg hole!, and heat was pretty bad..my friend threw up! try em if you dare, but film it..coz its not worth doing otherwise.

Yes, they are sooooo good. Hot, yes, but very tasty in things. I like them added to green chili.
