Hi Savannah...many people are not aware that certain human foods can be quite toxic to cats. As humans we like to season our food to taste and some of those ingredients unfortunately can be very dangerous such as garlic and onion as an example. Some vegetables also can be harmful, therefore it's best to always consider feeding cats only cat food and treats designed with them in mind to avoid any possible chances of accidental poisoning.

Most cats like pasta, so maybe a tomato sauce with some sliced noodles? Garlic is a good flea repellent, by the way :) I've heard that cats like corn and beans as well. I guess your cat might like peas if he likes corn and beans. One of my cats loves macaroni and cheese, and I used to have a cat who would try any human food. She was especially fond of pizza (I don't recommend letting your cat eat more than a bite on a rare occasion... I'm sure it's not healthy for them, even though it might be a nice treat.). I guess the only way to know is to experiment!

Well, instead of catfood, why don't you give your cat a little bit of what you are having?! I always give my cat some of thew food I have and they have always enjoyed it.I'm a bit of a weirdo though. However you can give your cat any kind of vegetables, they actually like it. Just make sure it's not too salted -too much salt is bad for cats- and does NOT -VERY IMPORTANT- contain any orange or lemon or general citrus juice! Other than that, remeber cats are "wild" animals, unlike us,if they don't like something, they won't eat it! Merry Xmas to you and your cat

In my experience, I have had cats that enjoy asparagus, sweet peas, green beans, mashed potatoes and corn.

We have three and one prefers his 'taters on the fried side...one is finicky and won't eat hardly anything...the third, a little mackeral tabby that my husband brought home as a feral kitten, will eat ANYTHING...even shredded lettuce and uncooked vegetables.

Your cat might enjoy pumpkin pie too. If it isn't used to eating a lot of veggies, I would even suggest that you feed it a small piece of pumkin pie because there's a chemical in pumpkin that settles the stomach and can prevent problems in the litter box.

Oh yes, feed your cat Pringles and then sit back in joyful wonderment as he dies at an early age.

Good quality cat meat, fish (oily or steamed white fish if they like it) and cat biscuits (again good quality such as 'Hill Science').

Another tip (for neutered males) is to ensure they get plenty of water. If they only drink from the tap get them a 'cat water fountain' - see ebay for details.

Our two have had that lot for 11 years and they show no signs of fading.

I found chicken manure pellets work, you sprinkle them around and dampen them. The smell bothers cats but dogs treat them as a tasty snack! Those crystals aren't suitable for use on the soil but you can make things like slug traps to put it in, just some in a beer can on its side works for my neighbour. Cats also dislike citrus, thats what the crystals smell of to them. So citrus fruit peel or essential oil. You can also soak silicone crystals (water retaining pellets) in citrus essential oil and use that.

Cat's aren't really vegetable fans but they eat things that are in sauces so you could do a cheese sauce for her/him.

My cat eats everything from pasta and veg to soup, coke, cheese, cereal, curry- we try not to give him the opportunity though. Make sure you cook the veg well- he will like them better if they are a bit mushy. An old cat of ours used to like mashed carrots, he was very poorly and didn't eat much!

Any vegetables at all.

Our cat eats chili and rice, mashed potato, baked beans and his favourite is spaghetti bolognaise. He will always eat the spaghetti first. he has quite happily scoffed mashed swede and carrot, broccoli, chopped up roast potato's and he loves gravy, especially if it's salty. Doesn't like chips but will eat Pringles.
