I have even tried just installing it without installing the reconmended updates so how can i acctually install it.

ie7 requires you to have sp2, maybe 1 reason
there seems to be many bugs still with it so i wouldn't get it till things are patched up with it

I've installed IE7 with out a problem. I have 3 computers. You have to install the updates for security reasons. What kind of system are you using windows XP or what? The best way to install IE7 is to got to Windows Updates and download it from there. If you use Yahoo or some 3rd perty download you'll have problems. Did you uninstall it after each try? You can't download IE7 on top of IE7. Uninstall it again and start over. If all else fails download Firefox or Avant browser.

i LOVE windows and PC's.....but INTERNET EXPLORER sucks...i mean its horrible. i agree with everyone that says GET MOZILLA FIREFOX... its so much better.
