Yes. Be very patient. Dont be as rough. Be prepared for emotional out breaks. Remember, your partner is sick and the chemo will make things better in the long run. God is in charge, put your life in His hands. Praise the Lord

YES, the times i had chemo the last thing i felt like was having sex as i was throwing up and weak. I did however want to be held by my husband who was wonderful throughout everything. Body image is a big thing while going through surgery and chemo, i lost all my hair, had scars, lost so much weight and was so pale, i thought how could anyone want me? I was blessed with a husband, brothers and family who shaved their heads with me, made me laugh, bought me crazy hats, scarfs to wear. And a husband who made me feel beautiful and loved, the sex drive comes back, but i found something more precious than sex, acceptance and love no matter what was going on with my treatment.

Your entire life can change during chemo treatment. It can drain your energy and make you want to rest all the time, just for starters. I don't know many people who even think of sex while being treated with chemo.

I needed the intimacy of sex with my husband while I was going through chemo. It was a little different because the chemo drugs also mess with normal body secretions but I still had the desire.

If you are undergoing chemotherapy I suspect the last thing you'll be worrying about is getting laid. Good luck to you.
