If that's the case then God is an evolutionist and evolution is an action of God. That is an interesting notion and would account for all those bones,fossils and artifacts.

Religion ans science are two different things.
The bible- which ever version you believe in, is a story.
You cannot take the words verbatim.They are meant to teach us. It is not a scientific view of the world.
After Adam and Eve had two sons, they went out to find women to make children with.The bible is reminding us that there were other people.

God has given us all we "need" to know in the Bible- so whatever we do not know, it is not necessary to know. But there will be many mysteries revealed once we who are saved are in Heaven. That will be exciting!
