Most red wine should be consumed between 55 and 64 degrees

Chilling red wine kills the flavor. So, you can chill it, but whether or not you should, depends on whether or not killing the flavor is a good thing. Get my drift: chill cheap wine to kill the icky flavor (you can still serve it at room temp), but never, ever, chill good wine.

Always SERVE red wine at room temperature. If you are going to serve it chilled then at least have the good grace to hide your sin by putting it in a sangria or a spritzer.

If you want to. Red wines tend to have more flavor at room temp.
That's why most are served that way. There are some red wines that the prefered method of serving is slightly chilled.

NO You never chill true red wine it needs to be at room temp. aslo you need to open the bottle about 30-40 minutes before usage to allow it to breath. If it is a blush wine suchas most Zinfindels then you can serve it chilled, but deffinetly not red such as Merlots.

Yup! Not sure what the right temp is...but my parents have 3 wine coolers and only drink red wine. You chill then let it "breath" when you open it- like pour it into a decanter.

Red wine is usually drunk at room temperature for more and deeper flavors but you can chill it if you like it better.

OF COURSE YOU CAN..IN SOME CIRCLES PEOPLE WOULD SAY OH NO! Red wine should be drunk at room temp, unless it's a Beaujolais which should be drunk chilled.
