I was in the same boat as Erin. I never had to do any work around the house and I always got just about anything I wanted. Now, I have to admit, I have a little trouble adjusting to adulthood. My husband and I have arguments sometimes over me being lazy and not doing things around the house, but I am trying!

I was never a spoiled child but I witnessed two of my siblings become my mother's two favorite kids. She chose two kids to be her favorite out of twelve and this really made me pissed off, it still does but now I live a life where I spoil myself and spoil all of my kids equally.

I was spoiled in the fact that I never had to do dishes and laundry, or any cleaning for that matter, until I moved out of my parents'house. I moved in with my boyfriend who had already been living on his own for a number of years and we butted heads a lot because I was not used to cleaning and he was. It took me a couple of years to get used to cleaning more and now I do pretty much all of our housework.
