I never charged a per kid thing unless there were more then 3 kids. I think $5/hr is reasonable

you should really charge on how dependent the kids are. you should charge as much for the family that has three kids as the family that has two because the 3 family has a seven and nine year old that are pretty proficient by now. The 2 family has a baby in diapers which you should charge extra. I would say $2.50 to $3 an hour.

per child: $3 or $4, no more than 5
in general: $4 or $5 an hour, seeing as you just started and are only 12. I babysit two sisters and charge $5 an hour. First, see how difficult the kids are to watch, if they're really bad, charge $4, but if they're good charge $3, don't charge too much or they'll look for another sitter. hope this helped and good luck!

When I started to babysit at that age I got $5 an hour from every family, regardless of the amount of kids.

how are you going to be in charge of a 9 year old? i wouldn't leave my child with a child. what are you going to do if there is an emergency? jump on your bike and pedal for help? i'm not trying to be mean, but you are going to be way on over your head. wait until you're older to babysit. i know if i was 9, that 12 1/2 year old wouldn't tell me what to do! and honey, you can not take care of a baby!

The younger they are the more u ask for.Babys are harder to take care of. To be honest the one with 2 kids u shouldn't be watching. To many things could go wrong and your not prepared for it.Stick with the 3 kids and charge 4.50 an hour.

I used to charge $2 per hour per kid (so if there are 3 kids it would be $6 per hour).

Why in the world are you babysitting such young children when you are a child yourself? 3 kids for 12 1/2 year old, please. Get a paper route.
