the day i realized that i wanted to spend my life with him. we were at his car, he was sitting in the passenger seat, door open. i was standing in front of him. we were just talking and suddenly i realized what that weird feeling i'd been having was. i loved him, and wanted to be with him forever. it was a wonderful feeling.

Totally schmaltzy story:
I think it was 1987?...anyway, we were both 16. Bryan Adams was very popular in our circle at the time, and we listened to "Summer of '69" constantly. Well, one day, it was pouring down rain, and he'd just dropped me off at my house from an afternoon of hanging out, playing video games, and trying to be mature. I had the song in my mind, "Standing on her mamma's porch, I knew that it was now or never," and the rain was running down his face as he was trying to be a gentleman, so I ran to him and kissed him for the first time, in the rain.

Him calling every 5 minutes one night in the wee hours in the morning driving my mother nuts everytime she answered and he would either ask for me or not say anything at all. I finally answered at 4:30 in the morning and it was him...he told me he wanted to be with me so bad that he was going to go AWOL (He was in the Army stationed in Texas) just to come home to be with me and begin a life together.
All that just for me.
Sadly, he's no longer with us. It just broke my heart. But I'll always remember the sadness in his voice. I loved him so much

it was the weekend of my church/school's fiesta, and my boyfriend who lives 2 hrs away, came down to come help. it was gonna last from 5-10 pm. so it was gonna be a long night. so we went to rest. we went and lied down on my bed, and i curled up against his chest, with his arms around me, (it was cold---my room's the coldest in the house,even w/ the door open) and went to sleep in his arms. i woke up a few minutes later, and he left and went and got a glass of water. he came back and held out the glass to me, which had a straw in it, for me to drink. i was half asleep, and i remember him sticking the straw into my mouth, and me drinking. then i lay down, he covered me up with a blanket, and left. he came back a few minutes later, and lay down with me again, and his arms back around me, and then we both fell asleep, me again curled up against his chest, the blanket over us.

When I first met my husband and we were dating, instead of kissing me on the lips and being all aggressive. he kissed me on the cheek. it was so sweet.
