You usually cook it at 325 f. about 8-10 minutes per pound..if you have a meat therometer the inside of the ham should be 130 degrees! It shouldn't be frozen either..and if its sitting in your freezer..put it in your fridge 2 days before cooking it so it thaws out!

Don't put it in the freezer if your'e going to use it in the next few days, especially if it's vaccuum packed. Keep it in the fridge. Depending on the size of the ham, it should say on the package on what per pound it should be cooked at. If it's fully cooked already, it shouldn't take that long because all your'e doing is really heating it up. You can put that sucker in a roasting/cooking bag, put it in the oven and call it a day. When it's ready, you can decorate it with cloves, cherries, and pineapples and pour your favorite sauce over it, such as honey and brown sugar , then slide it back in the oven for a few more minutes....Simple!

I always get a pre-cooked, pre-sliced ham. Then just put it in a glass baking dish or even a shallow roasting pan, (I do 2 rows, slightly overlapping each piece)and then glaze it. At Thanksgiving I mixed pineapple juice and brown sugar and brushed it on for the glaze. It went over really well. For my Christmas ham, I bought a jarred glaze with cherries and bits of pineapples in it. I used it a couple of years ago and it was really good too. Just brush it on all ham slices (I only do the tops) and heat thoroughly. That's all you have to do. It's very easy, you can't really mess it up! Good luck!!!

You should cover the ham with foil and insert a meat thermometer into the deepest part but not touching bone. Cook until it reaches 135F & will continue to cook outside of oven to 140F.

-Add 1/2 cup water to pan of ham

-Add a nice basting sauce/marinade

Look at the package, as they usually have directions on how to heat it up, and it may include a glaze as well.
