There really isnt much you can do. As long as they are not coming into your yard, you will be fine. You will want to keep your little dogs up at night and make sure if you have one in season that you keep her up. Dont leave dog ffod out at night, and maybe start feeding your dogs in the morning. It will be nearly impossible to trap them or even hunt them. So keeping your pets safe is your best route at this time.

Winter is coming and they are probably having torubels finding food. Cyotes are generally very affraid of humans (inthe day or nght) they only get daring when they are really hungry or rabid. Keep a close eye on your dogs, don't feed them (that can cause problems, the cyotes will be come less fearfull of you that way) and if it is bad enough you can call animal control for more tips/information.

generally speaking, you don't need to get rid of coyotes. Even if you got animal control to take the ones that are there now away, more would come back. Wild animals live in the wild, that's all there is to it. Just be aware of their presence. Don't let your dogs loose if there's no human around. Coyotes don't generally prey on dogs, but a chainlink kennel for when you're away can't hurt. And make sure any cats are brought in at night. Coyotes are also very smart... show them a bb gun a few times (I never even had to shoot mine), and they will avoid your property.
Best of luck!

Make sure you feed your dogs only in the morning or day time, do not leave food outside, cause the coyotes will come eat it. a pack of coyotes can kill a mid sized dog, so keep an eye on things closely. If you live in the contry, use your gun to keep the coyotes away, i lived in the country and had a couple coyotes my family members had to deal with. I never had to shoot one though.

Coyotes.

Leave them alone-they are keeping down the rodent population and are not a threat to anyone but the smallest of dogs. We even have some living in Dallas-and they pretty much steer clear of humans. I love to hear them call.

If you have small dogs, you will want them to be in a secure, fenced area (but remember, owls can get them from above).

Really, when you learn more about coyotes you will most likely come to appreciate them for the crafty survivors that they are. Then you won't want to get rid of them and you'll enjoy hearing them sing.

They probably will not cause problems. Just be sure that your dogs are secured and protected from the coyotes. Also, make sure that your dogs are up to date on their rabies vaccinations, just in case they get bit.

You may be able to trap and kill the coyotes if they are causing damage to your property, I would just call your local Animal Control.
