You can have 2 items. A personal item and then whatever. Together both items cannot exceed over 40 lbs. They have to be able to fit underneath the seat or in the overhead bin. If it doesn't fit, you will have to gate check it at the jetway, no problem

i don't think they have a specific weight limit. I think it depends on the size of your hand bag.
