Lets see 24 hours in a day,thats 8760 hours for 1 year..that equals $45.66 per hour.Thats straight time. On the other hand,working for $8.00 per hour at 8hours per day 5 days a week...you have to work 17.123 years to make $400,000...-taxes.

Definitely depends on the jail. If I could be reasonably certain that no bodily harm would come to me, then absolutely.
