Sorry for the French teacher above, but "ah diuh" is not the best way to help pronounce the word. You will probably pronounce "ah diuh" as ah-die-uh. Not good.

To pronounce it well, you need to know how to pronounce the vowels. I hope you know how to pronounce in Queens (UK) English:

a (as in bath)
dee
uh

a-dee-uh

Generally, it's "au revoir" (pronounced "o vwahr"). You might be thinking of "adieu" (pronounced "ah diuh" -- there's no English sound that corresponds with that second syllable, so that's as close as I can describe it in writing).

Also, "salut" is also used by young people, or by people up to their mid-thirties (more or less) if they know each other.

ermmm.... i know that hello is "bonzuire" ( yes i know my spelling sucks) but that's all i realy know....
