She allows people to sell drugs, and use drugs in the house with the kids around. Also, she doesn't bathe or clean them, maybe 1 or 2 times a week. Child services wont help. She doesnt have a license, and drives all the time. What can I do? Seriously. They said one more driving offense and she's gone to jail for a while.

First, make sure you'll be the one getting the kids if she goes to jail.

You can wait near her house and call the police when she leaves, so they can follow her and pull her over.

Find out the laws in your state - you may be able to record a phone conversation with her, and get her to talk about her drug use.

Talk to the kids' daycare provider or teacher and find out if they'll file a complaint as well.

If the children truly aren't being bathed on a regular basis, social services will notice this during a house visit.

you could always try and set up a hidden camera, or hire a under cover detective to do some research. But you know, people drive all the time without a license, that's life. It sucks at times... but if you really want to get those kids, call the cops every time you find out that she's driving, maybe just maybe it'll be her lucky day to get pulled over.

I believe that about Child services not helping. My neighbor and his mom had incest and had a kid with eachother (they even ADMIT IT!), and now he's got a baby daughter. You think he won't molest her (like HE was molested by HIS sick mother?), yeah right. They don't care either! It's a shame. The thing you should do is narc on her to the FBI or ATF about the selling drugs thing. Cops will usually do something about it, but not all the time. Make sure to tell them there is a child in the middle of it.

If she sells drugs from her home, an anonymous tip to the police officers should quickly do the trick.

Or you could open her trunk, and take a few lightbulbs out of the tail light, and hope for the best. That's not nearly as effective in child custody courts as a drug conviction against her in courts.

These things take time sadly, which isn't much good for your kids, but then again, sneakily messing with their momma isn't going to get you any brownie points with them, even if she does deserve it.

If your concerns are valid, and you really believe that your kids will be better off with you, and not hold it against you that their mom is in jail, hire a private detective, from a reputable company. Then you'll have all the evidence recorded, and it will hold up in court.

That's a tough situation. Well, what I would do is make sure that you have a stable situation for your kids to live at your house. Then, keep trying to get through DCFS. Just tell them that you are really concerened about your kids well being. But don't talk trash about her to them because then it will look like your just trying to be vindictive. But good luck!!

There is no need to do that. When you do wrong it catches up to you. It's that thing called Karma. All you can do is be the best dad you possibly can be. It's truly ashamed that you have to sit by and watch your children be treated in such a manner. All I can say is just pray about it. God does answer your prayers. Also everything happens for a reason. So trust and believe she's gonna get hers. Best of luck.

i'm so sorry to hear that. have you gone to the police with the drug accusations? i would also go to the court house and file for another custody hearing. i wouldn't necessarily set her up, it's always best to do things the legal way. karma always comes back to bite you in the you know where...

Tell someone like a neighbor to be on the lookout. If u have more than one source of evidence then people will beleve you.
