Brew two tea bags in one quart of warm water and soak your feet for ten Minutes. Do this every night until the problem is gone. Then you can soak them periodically. Tea is terrific at keeping your feet odor free and it also will keep your feet perspiration free

Many people have the same problem. There are some things that you can do to greatly reduce foot odor:

1. Wash and dry your feet thoroughly every monrning and evening.
2. Wear abosorbant socks (athletic socks) every time you wear your shoes.
3. Only wear your shoes when you go outside--remove your shoes when you come into the house or go into other people's houses.
4. Most shoes (especially sneakers/tennis shoes) have inserts. Take them out and wash them in warm soapy water and allow to dry completely.
5. Buy new shoes and follow the above suggestions.
6. See a Dr about this, as it could be caused by a fungal infection.
7. Visit www.drweil.com for holistic advice on this matter.

Foot odor is often caused by a bacterial infection of the skin on the feet due to excessive sweating and the accumulation of dead skin on the feet. Consider Epsom salt and warm water soaks and the application of an over the counter topical antibiotic. In addition cleaning the feet with hydrogen peroxide may also help. If you have diabetes or a problem with circulation in your feet consult your doctor before trying any home treatment. When you shower dry your feet very well with a towel that you change often. Dead skin often accumulates and you want to remove as much of this dead skin as you can without causing pain. Make sure that you change socks during the day if your feet sweat and alternate shoes. Spray the shoes with a safe foot over the counter foot spray. Also consider making an appointment with a podiatrist in your area.

do you feet sweat alot? Are generally active? Do you wear socks with your shoes? All of these can be a general factor in foot odor. If you don't wear socks with your shoes, put some on, they make thinner socks if you are worried about the feel. If you are are active and sweat alot, try washing your feet, putting on a new pair of socks, and then powdering your shoes. Powder absorbs the sweat and odor from your shoes. Also If you want to try, Soak your feet in a basin for about 5 min. It can be longer but not shorter than 5 min. This will cure any bacteria that you have on your feet.
Good luck and Hope this helps.

Put pennies or oregano in your shoes overnight or freeze them. Make sure your socks are 100% cotton, dry your feet completely when you get out of the shower and use some foot powder.

Stop drinking carbonated beverages. Use a fan to dry out your shoes. Bacteria love moisture.
