The body does not need a detox, it works prety well most of the time. Long term...dont smoke, dont drink alcohol, eat healthily (organic if possible) and keep the tea and coffee down to a minimum. Drink plenty of water and your body will be clear of the major toxins;

You can keep detoxing really simple. Eat a diet packed with vegetables, fruit, whole grains, good quality protein, nuts and seeds. Drink two litres of water per day. Avoid additives, processed food, caffeine, sugar, alcohol, unfiltered tap water and dairy. Best eating plan to follow is a Low GL such as Patrick Holford's.

Make sure you plan daily exercise and treat yourself to some form of relaxation such as a massage, daily meditatin practice etc

If you want to go the "whole hog" use a colon cleanser such as Dr Natura which is available at http://www.drnatura-eu.com/log.php and book yourself in for a course of colonics with a reputable therapist.

Outrageous amounts of water. If this is for a drug test the drug test will show drug-free dilute in many cases this is fine. If yours it is a situation where it is not fine then you must take a creatine supplement one hour before the test. It would also be a good idea to eat lots of B vitamins. This will trick the test and give you just a drug-free reading. Also never test with first urine of the day. If they want blood our hair sample your busted. It should also be stated the faster your metabolism the faster the toxins are removed so do as much exercises you can stand and remember if you'd don't sweat it isn't exercise.

Contact an addiction treatment organisation in your area. If you cannot afford private care, you can check with some of the non-profit agencies that locally deal with addictions (including alcohol). Alcoholics Anon and Narcotics Anon have links to treatment centres and their members can offer support as you go through detox.

If you can afford it, there are a myrid of treatment centres for the addicted. I would suggest one that fits with your beliefs and aims. Since I do not know where you are, I cannot be more specific with details. I would gladly do so if you could tell me the city/town/state/province you are in. I hope this helps

The best way is to do it gently and don't starve yourself as this is hard on the body and your metabolism will slow down. You could try it for 10 days and buy a good herbal detox formula as this helps to get rid of the toxins. The golden rules are to cut out the things that are hard on your body - so caffeine, sugar, processed food, white flour, wheat, high fat dairy, red meat. To nourish your body and help it cleanse, drink plenty of water and stick to homemade fresh food, low fat meals, such as brown rice and vegetables, lentils, tofu, vegetable soup, stick to cleansing fruit such as apples, grapes, papaya, pomegranate, salads are good too.

Have you tried a cleanse? I've been trying exercise only for about 4 months and I only dropped 7 lbs. But with cleaning and exercising I lost 22 lbs in a month. I tried a 9 day cleanse. I'm going to do it again next month. My doctor recommended it to me for my weight loss. With a good cleanse you can lose up to 10 lbs in 9 days. And it's not just water weight. Just cleanse, eat healthy and exercise at least 1 hour 3 times a week. Even if it's just walking around the mall or the track. I'm now on month 2 and I've lost a total of 35lbs and 73 inches. You can buy Isagenix from http://www.thedetoxlife.com/ Good luck.

You don’t need to exercise for long periods of time. Short, sharp sets of exercise will produce better results if you work hard. Get a bypassing rope, skip for two units, do push ups for 60 seconds or so, skip for two minutes, rest for one minute. Then change the push up to something else like sit ups in addition to do the set again. Repeat it five times and it’s a quick, effective workout that will advance results than a long work or swim.

i think the best, and safest way, is to fast once a week,,,,,, only drink water and clear liquids for that day,,, soup broth (make sure its low sodium or homemade with no salt) ,, tea, pure fruit juices with no additives, no sugar,,,, and maybe a little fruit and a few no salt wheat crackers,,,,,,, this will flush out the toxins in a natural way ,, do this once a week for a few weeks, then once a month

Set performance-based goals. Always set yourself incrementally larger goals each week to ensure you’re engaged and have something to shoot for. Each little achievement is also a reward that you’re going in the best direction. From doing 10 more squats to mastering the latest yoga pose, whatever floats ones boat.
