I am having a horrible time getting some train tickets refunded. Has anyone else had any similar experiences & advise on how to resolve them?

I live in CA and bought the tickets for my sis who lives & picked them up in GA but was unable to take the trip due to medical reasons & she ended up in the hospital! Amtrak has been so disrespectful & unhelpful & they still have my money!

Alright, to get your refund simply have someone with the person in the Hospital mail you the tickets and take them to the nearest Train station.....which for you prolly isn't more than 30 minutes in any direction.

If that doesn't work then you should go out there and get the tickets and then take them to the train station and tell them the situation.....

Bottom line: You can't get a refune without the tickets.

I have never had any problems with Amtrak. someone answered
by saying they would fly rather than use Amtrak, well, that is their
choice. For me, I love traveling on Amtrak
