Go for the grill. Especially if you can grill, grilling is easier and healthier.

I guess it depends on what you are cooking it for. If you have the time, I would cook it on the grill since it is generally healthier (eliminates more fat) and tastes better. If you are just cooking supper then make it in the oven. I cook a lot of chicken but for now cook it in the oven until the summer time.

I've done a lot of cooking and if you put the whole chicken in a baking dish cover the bottom of the dish with water then add what ever seasoning you like cover with aluminium foil put in the oven it will cook in its own juice's make sure the oven is on low and let it cook for about 1 1/2 hours per kilo chicken the meat will be tender and just about fall of the bone.

Either way is fine, always taste good. Are you talking barbecue grill. My son did a roasting chicken on there. This sounds strange but he rubbed the inside with a mixture of salt Pepper & garlic salt, filled a soda can with water, put that on the grill & the chicken sat down over the can. Sauce or whatever liked on the outside. Med heat with the opposit burner turned off. Was it good. Moist.
