some people in Islam may be yes
but there are some in many other religions equally as intollerant
i dont think the religion does this , as there are many tollerant people also
it is down to the individual , and how they allow their religion to affect their lives and their interaction with others

I would think that the real question is can we find a religion that has not breed intolerance?

The problem is not the religion but rather those who would use religion for power or gain. I have yet to find any religious group that doesn't have one form of intolerance or another. Yet I have found many with in the various organizations who show caring and tolerance and even preach it. Unfortunately their voice is not news worthy.

I agree with you about Islam. That religion is all deeds and restrictions. But the worse case is that it is male Chauvinistic.
An adulteress woman must be put to death, but a man can have as many wives and concubines as he can afford. Just look at prophet muhammad.

But he married a rich widow for her money, so that he can go and conquer more lands for more concubines and more money to increase the size of his bandits. The sword of Islam it was called - make believers through armed conquest.

How can such a murderer call himself the greatest prophet - and put down the sinless Son of the Living God as a minor prophet.
This religion will not survive if they existed in a democracy where
freedom of speech existed. Many Christians were beheaded for
preaching the Gospel in Islamic countries. Their flimsy beliefs cannot stand open criticism, just like when communism killed all
opposition. It is called religious dictatorship(theocracy).

This country allows multitude of mosques to be built freely. Some Islamic countries will not even allow the Bible to be
brought into their country.

Possible? It does.

Religion is the breeding ground of intolerance.
