You can always pick white or ivory as the color for the dress instead of the color shown in the picture
I hope you find one that you like!!

when we went paying for for tealength dresses and were somewhat dismayed that the salon in effortless words had some, the owner of the bridal salon gave us a astounding piece of advice: A hem is a hem. which skill: do not lower price paying for a floor length gown that you want. you may have it hemmed to tea length.

This is gonna sound strange, but J Crew has a fantastic wedding collection. Their wedding dresses are all floor length, but their bridesmaid dresses are tea length. Plus, they're incredibly affordable since you're not buying from a "wedding dress maker". (I hope you're going somewhere warm cause cruises in Feb tend to be chilly and windy!)

Around the holiday you can find dresses at Ann Taylor, White House/Black Market, or any similar stores...it will be much cheaper than getting something from a bridal salon, because as soon as you add "bridal" the price goes up exponentially.

Look up Jessica McClintock on yahoo.com, it will take you to the designer's website. She has some super cute tea length designs for 300 and under that sound like they would be a good fit.

Have you tried www.theknot.com? They have a little search engine that will let you choose your dress length. Just go to gowns and advanced search. You should be able to find a very affordable one. Congrats and good luck!!

melissa sweet and claire pettibone both might have what you're looking for.
another tip- look at bridesmaid dresses in tea length which you can usually have made in white or ivory. this may save you some money.
hope this helps :D
