i see food contents labeled in g (grams), and salt content as mg (milligrams). so 400 mg in chips, is that alot?

the salt count seems to show that it's no better then eating an entire bag of salt.

what's your take on this?

Grams are larger since there are 1,000 mg to a g (gram)

so 400 mg is 0.4 grams (four-tenths of a gram).

The recommended intake of salt is about 2,000 mg per day so 400 mg is about 20% of your daily recommended intake.

there is indeed a lot of salt in chips however, a miligram is 1/100 of a gram, so that bag of chips has 4 grams or about 1 whole teaspoon. A lot!
