Although in times past it was taboo for a female to ask a guy out, times have changed. If you like a guy and want a date, then take matters into your own hands, and ask him yourself.

Show him some leg, show him some cleavage, add in a little flirting...
And then, since we men are dumb as rocks... either ask him out yourself, or give him a HUGE hint...
'Tarnation, I hate staying home alone on weekends... I wish I could just find a guy to hang out with, maybe I'll get lucky and find someone to ask me out...'
Remember us guys are as dumb as rocks at times, and though we may look at a ladies legs, and cleavage... sometimes it never occurs to us to actually ask the girl out...
Sometimes we're just dumbstruck...
Your easiest way out of our stupidity is to just ask the guy out...

Hmm... Well you just have to get to know a guy and keep hinting that you want to go out with him. It really depends on the guy like say if you wanted to date a goth or a hunk you might want to share some of the same intrests with them. Fit girls are more likely to get fit lads!

Cleavage never hurt anybody.
Also, when you're talking to him, lean in and touch his arm after he says something funny.
Tilt your head slightly and twirl your hair with your fingers as you mention a place you'd like to go but can't find anyone to go with.
He will now ask you out.

Flirt a little with them, drop some hints, but make sure they like you kind of.
P.S. ask them out face to face because they like that better and they will think you have guts.

Guys arent exactly smart as we think they are. Make big obvious hints like. "So im going to be so bored Friday night because I have NOTHING to do. I wish someone would come and hang out with me"
