Everyone spoke about the inside benefits but it's great for bathing in too!! Oatmeal is used to soothe dry, burning, rashy skin conditions. Great as a mask mixed w/ honey for exfoliating dry skin cells...

It’s thought to reduce your chance of getting heart disease. Although I once heard that it has no magic in and of itself but simply means you are not eating something that is bad for your heart. In other words by filling up on oatmeal for breakfast you likely skipped the ham and eggs and thus saved your heart. A little brown sugar and oatmeal is great!

It's nutritious, tasty, loaded with fiber and helps reduce cholesterol. It's one of the few foods with absolutely no negatives unless you don't happen to enjoy the flavor.

Don't bother with the instant. It's quite gross. The "quick" microwaves in a couple of minutes. Make it with milk and then add a little maple sugar or whatever else you'd like. It's fabulous and has great staying power.

Oatmeal is best when made with water only and then add a little maple syrup. Taste like maypo.

Nothings wrong with oatmeal... It's good and good for you... if you don't dig the taste, try it with evaporated milk.

It's alright, you have to add stuff to it to make it taste good, you know brown sugar, cinnamon, walnuts etc. It is good in the winter it warms you up and it helps remove cholesterol from your body also a good thing.

oatmeal is awesome...just don't eat to much of it, cause it'll give you the chits.

it's really good when it's runny and has butter and sugar in it.

It's a whole grain.

It is high in carbohydrates (energy) and fiber (heart health).

It lowers your cholesterol when eaten regularly.
