considering Israel is finally getting of their *** and speaking up against Iran with the admission of nuclear war heads wouldn't it be wise for Iran to back off. or has Ahmadinejad got something up his sleeve so to speak........maybe Russia backing him. how can the US handle two wars simultaneously when we have so much trouble with Iraq already.

Currently, I don't believe our military has the man power to step up the number of soldiers in Iraq and tackle Iran simultaneously. I'm not sure what's going to go down with all this Iran stuff.

It probably wouldn't matter who the leader of Iran is, the Iranians have had this nuclear program in secret for at least 10 years. If Israel is going to declare war, they're going to declare war - there's not a lot anyone can do, they certainly won't listen to the UN.

Any country would be very foolish to enter a conventional war with Iran, their country is much bigger than Iraq, they have a much larger population and a FAR larger and better equipped army - Iran is also a very cohesive country (unlike Iraq), there would be a far better co-ordinated resistance. Russia is also much more friendly with Iran - essentially Iran has powerful friends, wheras nobody liked Sadam Hussein. If you have to get rid of the program then tactical strikes would be just about your only option. "Regime change" wouldn't really be viable.

If Bush is still in power i look for it to happen or the. United States to look the other way and let Israel bomb them into the stone age. As far as the US doing anything we do not have the troops to do anything with Iraq going on the troops are thin. We would have to pull troops out of Iraq to do anything but the Arab countries will not let us use there countries as forward bases to work from.

Its funny how in the other responses people use phrases like we won't or we can't or they won't let us. If we are going to attack Iran, we will. If we want to attack Korea we will. We can always use a draft, and we can always launch amphibious assaults, and we can always bomb the living crap out of them.

We are unstoppable
