Have you ever noticed that on Myspace there's no Satanist in the little drop-down box for religion...I mean Satanism is a religion too and trust me there are plenty of Satanists on Myspace and I'm one of them

You should tell them if you are concerned.
Satanism isn't the same as Christianity. Also from what I understand, true Satanism isn't even the direct opposite of Christianity. From what I understand about your religion and the history of your religion, it is not organized under one leader or set of leaders or with a cohesive theology accepted by those who believe in it. It instead usually manifests itself in a more individiualized way as either a single person or in small groups. I'm sure that adds to the difficulty because what one person believes is satanism would differ greatly from another person who claims to be a satanist. I have heard that there are also fake satanists who try to appear that they are just to fit into the image and look cool.
If this is so, this is probably why My Space hasn't recognized it.

Can I simply begin my possess faith? Does that also depend? I suppose I'd like that. My important doctrine could be the golden rule, and the whole lot else could be entirely bendy. We'd have tons of devout vacations, celebrated with beer, soccer, and Mexican meals. Anyone would become a member of, and you'll certainly not need to pay me any cash. Just BYOB. Is that cool? If now not, I wager I'd most often decide on pantheism or Taoism or whatever.

Why would you be so bothered? Don't you think there are other religions that aren't represented? That's like saying I'm offended if Greek wasn't on the list of nationalities when I filled out a questionaire. You put on the most common and then put other. Why would you be offended by being an other? Be proud my satanist friend.

My guess is, "Satanism" is not listed up there because it is such a small minority. It is also not recognized as an "official" religion by the US government or anything.

Who uses MySpace anyway? What a load of rubbish. I'd imagine the only choices they really need are "emo" "goth" "cheer-squad" and "I'm too young to think for myself, so I love Jesus!"

it's another alternative choice the christians hate, so they complain too much and make threats to companies that acknowledge things like that.
