No, my parents are not Christians.
My eldest 2 children (4) are Christian, but they made the decision themselves and my husband and I made sure they fully understood the decision they were making. We did not want them to make a decision based on how we feel but on how they feel and what they understand. My youngest two were asking the other day when they could be baptized and I let them know that they could as soon as they were old enough to fully understand and make that decision for themselves.
(The eldest 2 are my step-kids and their mother is Catholic, so they also had to decide on their own which faith they thought was worshiping God the way the bible says we should.)

I'm a Muslim and neither of my parents are so i guess you could say NO id don't practice my religion because my parents do. As a child my parents always told me religion was for me to choose when i became an adult, or i was free not to have a religion or believe in God at all. 2 years ago i reverted to Islam and my parents support me in my decision they are happy for me.

NOBODY can honestly say for sure if a religion is right or wrong unless they are the Goddesses and Gods themselves! My parents taught me to use my brain and never tried to brainwash any religion into my head. They are Christian and I am Pagan.

I made the choice to follow God thru Christ on my own, after reading the bible and hearing the Truth from Word... I do not go to the church my parents raised me in cuz they did not teach the whole truth of the Bible... they had this feel good nicey nice attitude when that isnt what God is like (to me) at all. He is my Father.. not thru my parents decision to raise me a certain way....

Mother Christian - Father Presbyterian/Hard Knocks/anything else he wanted too.
I am Christian/Hard Knocks and anything else I want to believe in lol!

No you sure do not have to follow the leader, do what you feel is right for you. Those from the "old ways" do have problems with this though...if everyone would learn or be open to more then just one religion there would not be so much hatred in this world.

Religion grows hatred...read the boards for Prof.

Perfect example of why kids should be raised exposed to religion. They can make an educated choice when they are adults. If a child was never exposed to God, he could not rightly choose to be atheist. He would be atheist by default.

Well, that's one of the reasons for infant baptism, isn't it? It involves God's covenant with his people and therefore the authority of the parents in conducting their home in a Christian manner and bringing up their child(ren) accordingly. You might be against this practice, but in my opinion, I'm very thankful for parents that did obey the Lord's commandment in this manner. It wasn't a brainwashing as you're implying. It was a matter of giving me the truth from the start, and it allowed me to grow in the palm of God's hand. Thanks, Mom & Dad...

Because I was brought up in the West I have a Christian background, than, say, a Hindu or Muslim one. I know the Bible stories and the Gospel and go to church sometimes and like the figures of Christianity which are to me familiar and beautiful.

However I do think for myself and could not believe something just because my parents did. I am a druid.

No one has the right to say what religion is right or wrong. You have free will. God gave that to you.

I think for myself and turn to the Bible for answers. My parents do believe the way I do though. So do my siblings, children, grandchildren, etc. If you pray and ask God to lead you, you'll find the answers as long as you're sincere.
