I'm 22 years old, 5'4, 140, and my boobs are a 38G. What can I do to make my boobs just a little smaller? I'd like to be a 36D.

I can't afford to get plastic surgery/breast reduction. I have no insurance. I don't think I'd want to either, it looks too painful. Thanks.

Losing wiehgt or plastic surgery are your only options... HOWEVER... seeing how you don't weigh much as it is... I wouldn't recommend going any smaller at the risk of your health.

Bust size is down to genetics and body fat. Women's fat is stored under their skin and in the areas of hips and breasts. Exercises and keeping to a healthy weight should help to reduce the size of your bust. By toning and increasing the muscle ratio in your body this will also help. There are good classes nowadays that offer toning and strength exercises. You could also try yoga and Pilate's. To see a difference you'll need to put in the hard work and at least 1 hour each day, 4-5 days a week at the gym or classes. Also eat a diet low in saturated fat and sugar, stick to whole grains, lean meats, fish and lots of fruit and veg and don't go hungry. It's cheaper than surgery and you'll reap lots of benefits and feel good for it. Make sure you wear a good sports bra to avoid any discomfort when exercising.

I understand your concern. You will have back strain in the future, if you don't already. The best way of decreasing your breast size without surgery is to lose weight in general... you probably will not achieve a 36D, but you may lose a couple of sizes.

Exercise is imporant to tone up your muscles for support. Yoga might be a good exercise to take up since it does tend not to bulk out muscles as other exercises do, works from the inside out.

If you are feeling particularly angry or sad or unhappy about your breast size you might want to go in and read all the columns and stories from young women who feel massively under-endowed... might provide a little 'balance'...

I wish you all the best!

Breast Reduction surgery has become very common now. My cousin got her breast reduction, tummy tuck and facelift surgery in India by the company called Forerunners Healthcare .The Price for the surgery she paid in India was very less. She paid 30% of the cost she was quoted in America.

Forerunners Healthcare is very famous in India. They arrange cosmetic and plastic surgery for foreigners in India. I read a lot about them in the Newspapers and about their patient stories. They arrange financing for USA, Canadian, UK and other international patients who plan to have surgery abroad for low price, as the breast reduction, tummy tuck, facelift and other cosmetic surgery is not covered by insurance. They also have photos pasted of their International patients. You can checkout their website. There are huge cost savings. As a doctor I personally believe that surgery can be easily handled in India, as the quality of healthcare available In India is simply best in the world. The surgeons are USA/UK trained and facilities are 5 star.

Many patients travel from United States of America and UK to get low cost surgery in India. Indian corporate hospitals are comparable to hospitals anywhere in the world. In fact, India has medical facilities that are comparable with the USA, UK and Canada. India offers World Class Medical Facilities, comparable with any of the western countries. India has state of the art Hospitals and the best medical experts. With the best infrastructure, the best possible Medical facilities, accompanied with the most competitive prices, you can get the treatment done in India at the lowest prices.

You do have some scope for losing weight though it does not mean that most of the weight loss will happen in the breasts. You might not lose any. The best thing is to try to lose at least 10 lbs and see what happens.

One of the best methods would be by breast reduction surgery. I don't think it's painful and when you start to have mammograms in the future, you might be happy that you had your
breasts reduced in size.

Even if you lost a little weight (~10 pounds), I don't think it will change the size of your boobs that much. Worth a try maybe?

Breasts are fat and reduce with weight loss, however, once stretched that far, you may be a smaller size but may always need support bras.
