As an evolutionist, and a geologist I will go on record as saying that evolution is a theory and will always be a theory. We CANNOT prove it because we have not observed it. I do believe in evolution because the theory fits with what has been observed in the natural world and the geologic record. However, it is most definitely NOT a fact. In fact, my professors (who were all evolutionists) stressed this quite a bit.

As far as global warming, I have seen a significant amount of evidence that suggests we really dont know what is going on, and that global warming may not be really happening. Most of the information out there is put out by alarmists, and is perpetuated by people who are selling it. Remember that sensation makes money.

well one they arent facts they are opinions and two some people belive in different things like me i dont belive in evolution OR global warming. I belive evolution is stupid cuz if we were monkeys then what were monkeys? and Global warming is most likely just a phase that the Earth is going through just like the meltdown of the ice age. Did you ever think of that?

And the Moon landings and the Holocaust and so many other things. People just don't want to believe in some cases and don't trust the people telling them in other cases. Or a combination of both.

Denial is more powerful than reality. (I'm not absolutely convinced on global warming -- I favor the more moderate scearios.)
