Of course it depends on the people. Whoever is more outgoing is probably the one that will have to ask. Otherwise they may be waiting a long time. If the guy or the girl doesn't want to be the first to ask the other out, he or she could drop hints about really wanting to go out but never getting the "opportunity." Some people aren't good at picking up on hints though. I always had to bite the bullet and ask guys out when I was in high school and that was 20 years ago.

The guy should as the girl as is the norm in our society.
Wouldn't say it's bad for the girl to ask the guy though. Sometimes men like assertive women.

A guy should ask a girl out - however, it is nice to have it the other way around once in awhile.

In the old school it was always the guy!
but some girls today are so forward that they may ask the guy out lol
but if i was single I would wait until the guy asked me out

There is no "should"...if there is interest, it doesn't matter who asks whom out...it's completely acceptable either way...
