I want an event that leads to the Midnight celebration!

Best thing for kids is to plan something at home. All the restaurants will be serving alcohol, so kids will not be allowed. Also, Times Square is jam-packed from the early afternoon on New Year's Eve, so it's not a good option for kids either.

Call Churches in your area to see if they have plans of things to do in the church with kids their age, they will love it.
