On a search and rescue team to help look for missing hikers, campers, etc. Because a friend got me into it; I was looking for something interesting and useful to do. Also joined the Red Cross, but in this area it's really disorganized and they never finished my training no matter how many times I told them I needed it, yet they keep calling me to respond and it's frustrating that I can't. I helped out at a big flood this year.

I support Doctors without Borders. These people provide help all around the globe without any strings attached. I support them by giving money since I am not a Dr. Red Cross and other charities would not go to certain countries if UN or the country does not invite them. This is BS. Take example of Darfur. They have website and most of the money goes for real cause.

I have always supported any cause/charity that protects women/children from abuse. I've never had a lot of money so I usually try to send clothing, food, and other things, sometimes gift cards to grocery stores etc. When it comes time to give to United Way, I also donate to these causes.

I support Samaritan's Purse, Compassion International, Doctors without Borders and my brother's Memorial fund, The Mike Moorman Memorial Youth Foundation.

These are all organizations that help kids with difficult problems around the world.

I support them with financial donations, but I also raise money for them through my website and donate my time.

If I have money, I give it to Doctors Without Borders, because they help the neediest people in the world. This Year, I'm supporting the Salvation Army Orphange in Guadalajara because they are running out of funds and are doing such a great job with the children in their care. The children act and look happy, and have a wonderful choir.

I support disability and HIV victims. These people need support from everyone because they had been looked down upon and sometimes ostrcised from the society. They need people who can give them care and love.

I support them by empowering them.. find a place in society and dignity through advocacy and financial support.
