I have suffered from depression for many years and I would NEVER hurt my children! She has some other issues going on besides the depression. Maybe she was abused as a child? Don't let her continue to do this! Get her help or report her to the police and have her child taken from her. Children shouldn't have to suffer because mom is depressed! Do something, because if you don't, your just as guilty as she is!

Some women just become overwhelmed with their motherhood especially if they are the primary caregiver. Some children are really hard to handle at times and it just becomes too much for the mother and they begin looking for ways out. Some moms don't think there is a way out so that's when they start thinking about drastic measures.

well it could be psychosis.but if it is just depression than be a
friend help if you can.from being a overwhelmed mom myself you
could babysit or pay for a babysitter and go out with her.or go out with her while dad is home sometimes getting out is the best thing for a overwhelmed mom.tell her to hang in there it will change.not
always for the good at first but it will.

Seems like they are trying somehow to protect them. If the world is a scary, dangerous place, a loving mother has to protect her children any way she can. RE: Andrea Yates, et al.

She is basically making useful which you haven't any longer have been given an fairly melancholy that should reason you to harm your infant. She isn't singling you out as someone who might do it, she is basically asking what any surgeon might whilst prescribing the melancholy drugs. it quite is to verify how severe your melancholy is.
