Most people understand that an object travelling at the speed of light experiences time in a vastly different (ie, slower) frame of reference - the old tale of someone travelling at the speed of light for a few seconds, and then returning and discovering 30 years had passed.

What is somewhat less known is that taking the same scenario as above, but making the travel speed half the speed of light, you may see a different of 10 years! In short, as your speed approaches the speed of light, time will go at a very slightly different rate.

So, now the practical application to your problem: You must move as fast as possible and stay in motion as much as possible through your day. Do NOT walk anywhere, Sprint, or better yet, get a small motorized cart (and upgrade the motor to make dangerous amounts of power). Do not just sit in your chair, fidgit in wild broad motions. Do not ever just stand, engage in rapid up and down jumps. When eating, chew faster!

You get the picture! Soon, that 8 hour day will only take 7:59.9!!! SUCESS!!!

Scotty covered this on a Star Trek episode once. It required a quantum inverter modified to take the flux input from the warp engines. This required pinpoint accuracy and timing because once the warp drive jumped to light speed the quantum inverter had to be engaged six milliseconds after the jump to warp. The crew let the computer of the Enterprise handle this timing issue. Meanwhile, Captain Kirk was making out with a babe from the laundry department!

Yes, time machine good. Finding high energy output/time warping devices not so good.

Finding and or educating yourself into a job that you want to be at might be a touch easier. A step twoards that find one class on or offline that intrestests you and take it, then take a few more over time and see if you can find a type of job that incorpoates one or more of those learnig experiences.

Remember what parts of the job you like best and try to do them at least once a work shift, or try to add a new part to your job that you enjoy.

Seeing how I always get to work about 10 minutes late each morning, I leave about 10 minutes early to make up for it ;-)
