I agree with the majority. Designer puppies are a scam. I would assume that the puppy looks like a curly haired beagle. One thing you may want to keep in mind, you will be hard pressed to find any definitive care instructions for a designer breed, and the best way for you to understand your pet is to research beagles and poodles, because your dog is going to be susceptible to the health problems of both breeds. They will probably also exhibit personality traits of both breeds.

Poogle puppy? Sounds like some kind of mix. Assuming it has poodle in it, it should be hyper but intelligent. Try crate training. It work's for all types, even mixed dogs.

I bet that breeder told you that because they mixed a Poodle with a Pug, then it won't shed like the Pugs do, huh? WRONG!!
This sounds like a terrible mix, but then I feel that way about all designer dogs, err, MUTTS!

How much did they rip you off for? $1200...more?!

Sad. Just sad.

Anyhow, you potty train with a crate and a tight schedule. Hopefully since it is Christmas time, you have extra time to devote to his housebreaking.

As for health concerns, yes, there will probably be some. Poodles and Pugs are known for some terrible genetic disorders, not to mention that Pugs can have some grave respiratory issues.

I think you have set yourself up for some tough times with this dog.

You should have done your research, that's for sure.

Wow, some people like to flap their jaws huh?! Any who, the best way to go would probabaly be crate training. You will need a crate just large enough for puppy to stand and turn, not more than that. You don't want a huge crate otherwise you will defeat the prurpose, the pup will go to the back of the crate, do his thing, and sleep up front. Remember that animals "go" ; 1.- After eating/drinking; 2- After getting excited; 3- After waking up. Keep those in mind and it will help out a lot.

Mutts are mutts and genetics is genetics. doesn't matter if the mother is a beagle or a poodle. Pups from two poodle mothers will not looks exactly the same and the same is true for pups born from beagle mothers. ETA: That is because of the difference in breeding tactics. Lions are competitive breeders. When a pride as more than one male, all males are hopping THEY father all of the cubs. Lionesses want to have the MOST they can afford to have. They inhibit the growth of the fetuses allowing for the maximum number of cubs to be born Tigers aren't like that. They normally have small litters to begin with and mother don't inhibit their fetuses. Hence why Ligers are bigger than Tigons.
