Actually humans are like just about every other animal alive in some ways, but some of our parts function differently and some do not even function at all. We have parts the don't even work in us, but work in other animals.

What choice do I have? I was born in America. That means I am surrounded mostly by Christians. If I was born in the Middle East, it would be Muslims. In Asia, Hinduism or Buddhism. Many other tribal religions in parts of Africa. God has never given me a choice? Shown me the truth. We are not born with faith. You really are pretty twisted.

The problem here is that you will probably only see the truth at the end of times. Seems kind of sad, doesn't it? I predict, right now, that you will no longer be cursing God then, but rather begging his mercy that you so, what's the right word..., adamantly rejected. Kind of sad, isn't it? I'll pray for you, even though you'll curse me for that too. And it's not like you didn't have a choice to make about God!
Speaking logically look at it this way-
If God is true and you accept him, you get eternity in Paradise. If God is true and you reject him, you get death and Hell.
If God is false and you accept him, you lose nothing.
Only speaking logically, it makes sense to accept him, doesn't it? Now, of course, that isn't a very good reason to accept him but it's a darn good reason to actually research it and try it out. You say you already have? I don't think so, otherwise I wouldn't still be answering this question.
As for God "throwing people in Hell if they choose the wrong religion," that is so false it's funny. Why doesn't anyone get it that WE ALL DESERVE HELL? That's all we deserve! You said people go to Hell is for choosing the wrong religion, when the real reason people go to Hell is because of IMPERFECTION! Every single person deserves to be damned forever! That's the beauty! All you have to do is believe and have real faith and you don't get what you deserve. That's the beauty. It's not like if someone lives an average life they should get Heaven. No, if someone lives an average life they should get Hell. It's justice, perfect, pure, justice.

I agree with Chewy 100%. I believe in God and Evaluation.
Also God does not throw people in Hell for choosing the "wrong" religion. In fact as far as I am aware there is no religion that actually has a belief like that. I do know that there are INDIVIDUALS of SOME religions that chose to believe like that (but they are misguided). And those are not the beliefs of those religions as a whole.
I hope that you will not chose to discount religion entirely just because of people like that. If you are truly interested in this topic than you could always research different religions on your own. I strongly suggest Buddhism as a good start.

BTW If I was you I would ignore everything L-Dog wrote, he seems to be seriously misguided. We do not all DESERVE to go to hell!!! And obviously anyone that would say that is not someone you would want to listen to for religous advice!!! All I suggest to you is that you think outside the box while you are researching religions, remember you don't have to conform to any ONE religion.
Basically I just wanted you to know that you do not have to believe in God as vengeful and you do not have to believe in the "bible" as the Be-All-End-All of Religion.
Like I said before, I believe in a combination of Buddhism/Christianity and Evolution. Do what you know is right for YOU in your heart.
But remember that someone/something created the earth. Even if the earth itself was created by a tiny grain of sand over Jillions of years...someone created that grain of sand...(I hope you see where I am going with this, lol)

God alone decides the "ins" and the "outs". His decision will be perfect.
Oh, and do some studying sometime on creationism. There are all kinds of evidence that man is a unique being with connection to any other creature through evolution. But the evidence is not getting taught.

Come on dear if you can't get them to believe in full blown evolution you don't have to call them sick twisted people. Don't you know they feel the same about us and there are so many more of them than us. About a thousand to one. You don't want them pissed off at us. They could just trample us if they like. Then we would be dead if we go to Hell or not. xx
