Not afraid at all, although I'm not a starry eyed kid who thinks love conquers all...there's a lot more realism and experience involved now (at 42) but I don't fear getting hurt...it happens...I'd rather take that risk than skip out on the whole experience of loving someone and/or having someone love or care about me...

You get to a point in your life after a LOT of swooning & falling before you realise its not always worth it. I'm very afraid to fall for anyone in the future. You always deal with it after the event, you pick yourself up & carry on :0

of course u can pick up pieces later! cz if u dont see them in the moment or havent the right answer/action their must be a second or more even more chance...
if only the first chance would work, than a lot of people had problems to get an relationsship to the right person :)
and afraidness... yes i have it to let me fall in something what is not really clear only seems to be...

I have dreams of falling. Sometimes I am running and then I jump over something and fall off a cliff and wake up still feeling that way. I also have dreams of falling off the back of my friends Harley. But yes. I want to stay on the ground.

well im very clumsy && fall down the stairs all the time!
but uhh falling for someone yea... its scary to fall in love totake that chance waht if teh other person rejects you.. there is lot to be afraid of but sometimes taking that fall is worth risking everything! last time i fell it hurt && then this amasing guy picked me upp! funny how things work out!

it's not the falling it's the sudden stopping that gets me..
okay, to answer your question.. HOLY CRAP YES!!! i tend to get into relationships that i'm not going to get hurt in the end if it doesn't work out..which means i'm not really that into it..
i avoid relationships in which i feel that if it doesn't work out there will be pieces of a broken heart and i'm just not down with that..
