I ate frozen spinach all through the e-coli scare and am back to fresh spinach now. I love it. I think you have more to fear now from dining at Taco Bell or Olive Garden!

At first, when I heard about the e. coli outbreak with spinach, I didn't eat it for quite a while, but in recent weeks I have had both fresh and frozen spinach, and I haven't experienced any illness or anything, so I would say it's probably fine to eat again.

Even during the "E coli" breakout, of the millions of people who ate spinach, less than 200 reported symptoms.

I'll eat spinach all day and won't feel a bit of worry about it!

I agree: as long as you wash it, or, if you're still very concerned, cook it, you should be fine.
Bon appetit!
