I acidentally formatted my SD card on my canon powershot SD450. If it possible to retreive those pictures if I didn't take anymore pictures after the format?

I dont think you can.... I reformatted one too and completely lost everything.

yes you can! all you have to do is buy a photo retrieval program online. it costs around $30-50, but it's worth it. I deleted a whole bunch of pictures that took 2 weeks for me to compile for a school project, and i bought something called Photorescue from download.com.

Yes it is, but you will need file recovery software which you will most likely have to pay for. A program called "Recover My Files" (search for it) has worked for me.
