okay this is how it went down. this guy likes me for like 2 years now. And everyone has told me this, but i only liked him as a friend. So this year he tells me he likes me and he is soooo sweet about it and he is a very nice guy and when i told him i only liked him as a friend i think he was really crushed, but he was totaly nice about that too, he said he was cool with it as long as we were still friends. Now I think I'm totaly falling for him and i know he still likes me, but i'm afraid that if i say something things might not be the saime anymore. Plus on top of all that my parents would flip if they found out about this. What do i do?? HELP ME!!!

I don't know about the parent thing but to the question the thing is, the best relationships are the good friend ones. There are all kinds of intimacy, and a friendship is one of them. I say you should go for it, cause you will always wonder what if, and it's better to go for it with a friend than with a stranger cause yall have that certain special bond that can help with the drama if there is any.

Keep it friendly. This guy doesn't need for you to give him some hope then kick him to the curb. And if your parents would flip you are probably too young for this kind of relationship anyway.

Talk it over with your folks first and if they are ok with things, then talk to the guy. Just keep your folks in the loop so they will continue to be open minded. Never keep secrets from them or lie about your relationship. it will help.
