Hi Holly: It is time to say good-bye to this person, even if you Have feelings for him.
You do not want to be in a relationship where you can't rely on the person to stay out of trouble. Your relationship will be a roller coaster ride and you will be drawn into his problems and trouble .
Is this what you envision for your future.
A man should be working, grounded , good and honest, truthful and a good mate. He should care about you and how his actions will affect you. He did not consider you or your life. It is time for you to take your life back. get back to school. get an education and make something of yourself.
This is your chance... He has been removed from your life for a reason. this is your chance to get away and make something of yourself. Take this opportunity to better your life and your situation. I would not write to him anymore. Return his letters to the lock up and get on with your life. I am sure once you distance yourself from this situation you will realize that this is the best thing you could do for yourself....You will find new and supportive people once you make some positive changes in your life ....

He committed the crime and now must do the time. I'd move on with my life without him, he can do nothing for me now. If he tells me I'm not supporting him in his time of need, I'd tell him yes I am, who does he thinks pays for his incarceration? Us hard working tax payers that don't commit crimes, that's who!

he can get married in jail, but you don't have to wait because that's half of your life being wasted on a man that's not guaranteed freedom
