It is taxed. So the deal was they don't have to list the nutrition facts because if it is taxed and a luxury item it is not considered a food item.

That's the truth. Nothing exciting, just a deal made when they voted on the law to tax it.

Well, I think that it would be a waste of space on the beverage can, but you do bring up a solid point. I do not drink beer, but I do have an occasional alcoholic beverage. How many calories are in that drink? Soda / Pop is not good for you, and they give out information on those beverages. Contact your legislative representatives on that issue and speak out!

If you talk to your representatives, could you ask them to mandate the same information on all restaurant food items?

cuz the only thing it has in it is CRAP
lol jkjk it's probably because it's not good for you anyway, so there's no reasonable serving suggestion and they don't know what to use as a good standard. also many people give wine bottles as gifts, and who wants to receive a fancy bottle with an ugly nutrition facts bar on it??

I think that it is still on there but instead of being on the bottle maybe it is on the box that you get it on. If not then I dont know.

i guess they assume people drinking alcohol dont care,,,,, plus im not sure what part of the FDA it comes under,,,,, drugs or food,,,,,
