It's a routine. Also a lot of them are not educated on alternate theories, let alone scientific facts, that explain certain things that show that there isn't a man floating around up there in the sky and people don't rise from the dead.

Hi photografr 7-

Religion in general is not what I put my faith in. My faith is in Jesus Christ.

There is a difference between religion and a relationship with Christ.

I believe for many reasons. One is that God's Word holds prophecy. Bible prophecy which has been fulfilled so far has been 100 % accurate. The rest of the prophecy that hasn't come to pass yet is regarding end times. It is enough to sit up and take notice! (give it a try :)

Hope this answers your question.

Sincerely - Redeemed

Because it brings structure to life which, if followed correctly, will bring unsurpassed happiness, even if only temporally. It often gives answers to questions that are not fully explained by science. It also allows man to conquer death, if only in their own mind. For these reasons religion has found popularity among the human race and will continue to do so throughout all time.

Just looking from a human standpoint, people need something to believe in. It's just how we are wired. You and other atheists believe in no god. Many people take the more traditional route and believe in a god, whether it's the God/Jesus, Allah, G-d, nature type gods, or whatever etc., etc. It's just how we are, we need something to hold on to.

And of course, some people actually do believe in the god they say they believe in. True Christians believe in the God of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. The actual term is known as faith.
Atheists have faith in their belief in no god; they believe it even though they have no actual, concrete proof. We Christians do the same thing, but in my opinion, for better reasons. We all have to believe SOMETHING.

Eh, it's not really my thing, but I certainly wouldn't take it from anyone else. I think a lot of sports are silly, but obviously a crapload of other people disagree, and I can choose to simply not participate.

Very simple answer my knowledge seeking friend.

[024:046] We have indeed sent down (in this Qur'ân) manifest Ayât [proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, lawful and unlawful things, and the set boundaries of Islâmic religion, that make things clear (showing the Right Path of God)]. And God guides whom He wills to a Straight Path (i.e. to God's religion of Islâmic Monotheism).

Don't be sad if your misguided rather seek guidance sincerely and if it destined for you, then you will see, if it is not, then we will see on the Day of Judgment.

maybe because there's actually something real about it. i wish i knew which religion you're talking about but overall religion is just a part of society, like it or not we need it and we know we need it or else we wouldn't be making up all this crap and we wouldn't have all the cults we have. i guess if you don't like one religion you can go scew and twist it into something you do like.

Because we need to believe in things. The whole Atheism thing seems to be silly to me, but you don't hear me insulting people for their beliefs

What's more likely:
that the big bang started by itself?
or that something started the big bang?

Science tells us that every action must have a equal and opposite reaction. And logic tells us that if we follow all reactions by their cause, we will eventually reach an "uncaused cause" if you will. This is God.

Now, which version of God is truth? That's an entirely different question:)

Thanks for reading and God bless!

Apparently, not everyone believes it is silly. Or that there are varying degrees of silly mixed in with desired influences.
