Humans are the cause of all those things. God can't go fixing all of our mistakes. If we put our minds and money together, we cann end poverty, wars and so on. If we can stop all this stuff, then why don't we? Does not mean we are not good people. Plus, if the world was perfect, what would be the point of our existence? To see how we will cope in a perfect world? And how will we be judged on helping these people if they did not exist. God does not create these things, humans do, everyone has free will, and whatever happens in this life is like a test, and we will be judged on the kind of people we are not only to ourselves, but to people around us. It would not make sense to me if everything was fixed for us perfectly. We need to see suffering sometimes to see how truly lucky we are.

# Famine - there is enough food in the world, but politics, war etc, keep it from getting to where it is needed, or prevent people from growing or harvesting it.
# Earthquakes may be natural, but cities such as San Francisco and Tokyo are built on well-known fault lines. If people moved to a more stable area, the casualties would be minimised.
# Disease - Many diseases thrive on the poor sanitary conditions that a lot of people have to live in. Better housing and sanitation, plus a clean water supply would greatly improve the situation. AIDs has been spread by sexual promiscuity, like other sexually transmitted diseases before it. CJD was introduced to humans through messing around with the natural order of things and feeding meat products to a herbivore.
As far as wars, they are caused by greed, religion and ignorance.

There is only one God, the God of Israel. He's the one that spoke and the Universe was created. It could be described as a big bang. He's no dummy. He made us with His own hands and created a really nice place for us to live. But, that which is not God hangs out here and ruins everything when able to. It's a good idea to obey God because He loves you and can get you out of here safely if you trust Him. That's all He asks. Just trust Me. Trust that my Word is Truth. Only Jehovah God's Word is Truth. The other's are not Truth. Not God. Not Life. Not Love.
I don't personally agree that everything that happens in life is God's will. God's will is kind and gentle, loving. It's religion that takes Truth and turns it into oppression. It's religion that you have to watch out for. Jesus Christ will set you free.

God made the world 'very good', without death or suffering.
He gave Adam and Eve free will, and warned them that if they disobeyed the punishment would be death and a cursed world.
That's what happened. We die because we are descended from Adam and Eve and can't help being sinful. There are wars, disease and famine because we live in a fallen world - not as God made it, but marred and spoiled by the Fall
The just penalty for sin is death. However Jesus came to pay the penalty for all our sin. Death and suffering is a temporary intrusion. Jesus will come again and in eternity there will again be no death or suffering.

because most religions and/or gods come with their evildoer god (satan or whatever) who is the one responsible for the bad things (disease, famine) or the "bad" people who do said things. some religions also teach that you did something to deserve your misfortune, either in this life or a previous one.
or, the people "causing" the wars are infidels (fundamentalist belligerent muslims view of christians AND VICE VERSA), so you can still believe in your God and just wish that those other people would come over to the good side.
we're not alone! we have ourselves, and each other. and a beautiful planet full of beautiful creatures.

One believes in God- there is suffering. One does not believe in God- there is suffering! Bible says there is a God and the good and the bad suffer alongside. Jesus ( God incarnate suffered in the form of a man). It's the result of Satan tempting Adam and Eve. Jesus came to show us a way forward, and that this life and all it's suffering will be changed at the end of our time. Believe it or not. Can you find a better way?

The existence of suffering is not proof that God does not exist. Not that I imagine for a second that he does exist -
Didnt you think maybe he's really, really evil? Or just doesnt give a toss what happens on Earth?
