Even though your friends are very important to you, you can not live your life by them. You are the only one that can make "you" happy. If you really like this guy go for him! Unless your friends have a really good reason not liking him(he's abusive,or cruel or something to that effect). I met a guy that my friends didnt like now i'm about to marry him and their all drooling over it! they are all screaming how good of a man i have,and how i'm so lucky)If I had of listened to them I wouldn't be as happy as I am today!!!

Unfortunately, your friends don't always have your best interest in mind, but think of themselves (not always). I would look inside and do what you feel is right for you. It may just be that your friends don't really know him or what he's about. Give it a try.

you choose because you like him
your friends are not real friends to expect you to drop a guy because they don't like him
you will never have a guy if you listen to your so called friends
they are jealous and don't want you to have a guy friend/ boyfriend
they are emotional/ oh please.

You should talk to them & ask them why they don`t like him.
I have a boyfriend & my friends don`t really like him, but he means everything to me. If they were your real friends, they would support you no matter what & stand by your side. Through this experience you can/will be able to find out who your true friends really are. GOOD LUCK(:

It not really your friends decision about what actions you take. If you like him and they don't sit them down and say, "look I know you don't like him but I do and you have to deal with it. If you can't then I'm going to have to choose him over you. You need to try to get used to him."

Friends get way too involved, ignore them if you really like him. If they turn into meanies then you know they arent very good friends.

Well if you try to please everyone you will become a crazy person because you can't please everyone. You need to explain to your friends that the 2 of you like each other and if they were real friends they would support whoever you like.

if you like him & he likes you, go for it. i wouldn't worry about what your friends think unless they think he is bad for you otherwise don't worry about them-if they were good friends they would want you to be happy-sounds like they need bfs so they don't have to worry about yours.
