Once you have them they are likely to reoccur at frequent intervals. Try using anusol or anusol HC suppositories or Preparation H cream;

HI!
Piles are a long term problem though the symptoms can come and go. They are basically varicous veins in the anal canal. they can either be internal or external (like little skin lumps around the anus). symptoms include itching, stinging, swelling pain and bleeding on going to the toilet. You can get over the counter creams such as germoloids which will reduce th swelling and have a local anaesthetic for pain though you should always see your dr with bleeding there as it can be a sign of something more serious and he/she will need to rule that out. If your piles are severe there are steroid creams available from your dr andd surgical options. eat more fibre, avoid straining and keep the area extra clean and dry as well

The symptoms are small painful bags of blood hanging out of your bumhole. You'll know if you've got them. If your bumhole feels normal then just lay off the spicy food.

The cure is either cream or (more effective) waxy torpedo-shaped enemas that you stick up your bum. Sounds disgusting but they work much better than cream. You can get either treatment in any chemists.
