Is it a turn-off when a girl has her belly-button pierced??I can understand if the person was fat, but what is wrong with a girl who has a tan, evenly toned, stomach having her belly-button pierced?? Why is that a turn-off??

Ok, I am a mom of 5 kids...had 3 of 'em. My belly button was pierced 3 yrs ago as a present to myself. I will be 40 yrs old next yr and look quite nice. My husband thinks it's hot and sexy. If you like it, then do it. (If we all wondered what everyone else thought all the time then I don't think anyone would break out of their comfort zone, or think outside the box.)

I never thought of it as a turn off, and in fact use to really think it was sexy. However, I have started to think it is a little old school and has become a little skanky. Nothing like a naturally beautiful woman with an untainted body.

Maybe to a young guy who doesnt care what they wear, as long as its "nothing at all"....
But, to older people like me, I think its plain ol discusting. If my Wife told me that she wanted a belly ring, I would tell her to get her head examined! I would then ask her to "shake her head" and see if I could hear the rocks falling over themselves while tumbling in a blonde head... (yea, there has to be "something" wrong with some one wanting holes in thier bodies that the good LORD didnt put there!!!).

I'm not a guy... but I am a lesbian... and not only do I find my gf's belly button piercing sexy as heck, I have one, too! I'm not a major body-mod freak.... I have my belly button, ears and tongue pierced... that's it. This is one of those "less is more" situations but a belly botton piercing is the sexiest of them all... IMNSHO, of course.

To me it doesn't matter either way. It probably depends on the guy more then anything.
I think woman with them are usually considerd less-then-humble then others, although thats not my oppinion. so its more a personality thing.
The only piercing that is a turn off for me is a tongue. tongue piercings kinda gross me out.

well,I think its just everyone likes something different and more than likely you get more compliments than digs about it.But, I am sure its bothering you because you keep focusing on the bad comments instead of the good ones.
Some people just find anything out of the ordinary to be ugly or un attractive.If you like it then who cares what anyone else thinks. Its your body, do with it what you choose and remind yourself something.
Opinions are like butt holes, everyone has one and they usually stink!
