I used to have a friend that thought it was too forward of girls to want to hold hands on the first few dates. His excuse was that he was Christian and he thought relationships should be very chaste, but years later he finally admitted he was gay.

If it's just a matter of awkwardness--especially since you've let it go for too long--just take the reins and kiss him. The holidays are a good time for that. But if he doesn't respond or seems put off by it, seriously consider that there's a problem. Even if you're just kids in middle school or something, that's still very unusual.

If you are not a kid then that is really bad. If you are an adult please sit down with your boyfriend and discuss why havent you guys kissed after a 4 month relationship. This is beyond the point of me or anyone else telling you to just kiss him; you need to find out why there has been no kissing before you just go at it. Good luck!!!!

I'm sorry to say this but yes it is kind of bad you have to kiss him some time i mean its been 4 months unless you both at the same time don't feel ready (unless you guys aren't the age of 18)

Depends on your age. If you're young it's pretty normal - in high school I had a friend date a guy for almost two years before they kissed. If you're an adult it's more unusual.

Seems like a very platonic relationship. But if you're both happy, then it's fine. Talk to your boyfriend about it, see what he thinks.

It's not necessarily a bad thing or a good thing. Many people (especially Christians) wait to do anything with their significant others until marriage. Personally, I would want to kiss my boyfriend before marrying him to make sure there was chemistry, but to each his own. Do what you feel is right!

How old are you???

You sound like your maybe 11. And if that's the case, then no its not bad. You should be at home playing with your barbie dolls. There will be plenty of time for boys when you grow up.

I would not say its bad just unusual. Is there a reason? Maybe you guys are just not ready or maybe one of you dont like to kiss. My husband and I harly ever tongue kiss, not even when we make love b/c I dont like to kiss. But that doesnt make it bad. people show affection in different ways.

Depends on how old you are...if you are adults, then 4 months is a rather long time to date and not share a kiss...

...as pre-teens or young teens, it's quite normal not to move into kissing yet...

Bring up the subject.

Say - we could be doing all this and kissing too. See how he reacts. If he is not into kissing and you really want to, let him know. If he is still not kissing then it is time to walk away.
